Project Description:
I have chosen to work with the Gas Lab Gravity Box. I chose this model because I want to know how collisions and gravity works in Net Logo. I do not plan to change the model until I fully understand it. When I do understand it, I would like to experiment with the speed and mass of the particles to see how they are affected by gravity.
My Gaslab experiments:
Initial-particle-speed experiments:
-I put 1 particle on the screen. When I increased the initial-particle-speed, the speed of the particle slowed down. When I decreased the initial-particle-speed, the speed of the particle sped up down.
Gravity-acceleration experiments:
-I put 1 particle on the screen. When I decreaced the gravity-acceleration, the arc became steeper. And when I increaced the gravity-acceleration, the arc became shalower.
-I put 100 particles on the screen. When I made gravity negitive, the particles were attracted to the ceiling instead of the floor.
Particle-mass experiments:
-I put 1 particle on the screen. When I increased and decreased the particle-mass, nothing was affected.
-I put 100 particles on the screen. When I increased the particle-mass, the average energy increaced significantly.
